there was a serious accident happened in Msia at Genting Highlands. that accident is the most serious accident in Msia and caused 37 dead and 16 injured. i feel so sorry to hear that and RIP to those who have passed away in this accident and. this case was the headline for newspapers these days and everyone was talking about that. this accident was happened on 20th August and that day was know as the "ghost festival" in lunar calendar.
the survivors told the media about how this tragedy could happen and here's the story:
a man who took this bus back from genting highlands heard that the bus driver said that the brakes were not functioning when the bus almost crashed with a Honda City. but no one left that bus because everyone was rushing home. the bus driver was driving at 80km/h on the way down the hill and still continue speeding while turning left until the speed increased until 100-120km/h. the passengers started to shout at the driver but he didn't care about that and still continue driving on his own. the bus driver was suspected to race with a taxi which overtook the bus. and then the bus suddenly crashed down the hill and luckily the bus was stuck between 2 trees so that there were 16 survivors. if not, i think non of them can survive.
RIP to all those who were dead in this tragedy. don't blame anyone because no one wishes this to happen. :( once again, Rest In Peace
